I’m back at it after a few days off. I went to Franklin NC and Cherokee NC with a quick ride into the Smokies to see Smokemont Campground. We stopped at our favorite Chinese restaurant in Bryson City on the way home. I did get some new gear this week that I’m excited to try out soon. I got the Soto Amicus combo set that came with the stove, two pots, and two cinch sacks. I wanted to go with the MSR Pocket Rocket 2 and a TOAKS pot but that would have costs twice as much as the Soto combo. I also got an action camera with a mount for the pack strap. I chose the Akasko Brave 4. It’s a budget friendly option to start out with and in my opinion it’s is extremely easy to use and meets all of my video needs at the moment. I’ll spend $70.00 first and learn on this one and then look into a GoPro or a DJI for $400. I will get a review page going soon and put them both on there soon. I did spend some time learning the functions of the camera, it also sync’s with my phone, and took several photos and videos with it and am quite pleased with it for what I paid.
