I spent a few hours looking at different themes and when I came across this one it closely resembles what I pictured this site would look like. I want the reader to see a lot of information on the front page and getting the idea of what the site is about without having to look at page after page. I like the scrolling marquee and I’m trying to use a sticky heads so the contents of the site are always visible and accessible. I’m researching editing software, free music sources, and logos at the moment. I hope to shoot some content again in the next couple weeks and get it on the site. I hope to complete the basic site soon so I can focus on the content. Of course I keep thinking of new things to add to the site like gear lists, day hikes, computer and photography gear, and I want to posts links to the people I follow and watch. I’m looking to do some truck camping to shake down my new gear too. All in all progress is being made slowly but surely. Over the next few days I should have the time to move forward. I want to add some pics to this post… Last summer I found out that you can actually hike the road through Cade’s Cove in the Smokies after hours. I went the first chance I could.
